Welcome To My World

A beginning is a very delicate time.

Raise a hand into the empty air:
Hold on to the emptiness in your palm.

Then: from the depths of space, errant transmissions.
Some add up to something of philosophy.
Others are fragments through the static:
Some leading us to greater insights,
Some leading us into the blackest of dead ends.

Micro and macro, the atom and the universe.
And the human trapped in-between:
Our religions, our cultures, our politics, our endeavors.

The blood pulsing in our veins,
The thoughts large and small puzzling our minds.

Mind, heart, and spirit are in these songs, this mix.
The monumental within the mundane is here.
The crisis within existence is here.
The gamut is run.

Lower your hand from the sky:
Place it over your eyes, your throat, your heart. It’s beginning.

Cheers, whomever you are! I've plenty of mashes onthe list to be making, but who knows about Deserted...I enjoyed making the brief glimpse you hear on here, so maybe one day I'll finish it off...

Keep an eye on the website and maybe, just maybe in the near future....

Cheers,
Colatron :)

Bobby boy....I can only beg a thousand apologies. Not only have I let you down. I've let myself down. And the Queen. Gawd bless her.

May the fleas of a thousand camels infest my armpits.

Still buddies? Purrrrlease?

Your work is beyond this planet and this album reflects that just like a reversable mirror.

Heliosong has samples from what?
By this I mean the one wher ethe bloke is chatting about "a life without dancing".

Unknown said...

Hey fella - the samples in question come from the movie "V for Vendetta" with Hugh Jackman delivering the lines. Hope this helps

Cheers,
Andy

Hi Colatron, Thanks for this - it's an epic. I'm constantly on the lookout for ambient and inventive mixes and this one fits the bill perfectly.

A work of genius which has been pretty much all I've listened too for the last month or so.

Ta,

Ed

Thanks Edward for the very kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the album so much, and feedback like this makes it so worthwhile for me to do what I do.

Keep 'em peeled. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon - there will be a sequel to this....

Cheers,
Andy
