I'm sat here in the Mash Cave as I type, visualising myself walking around an abandoned, run down Birmingham in ruins in my Jimmy Jams, avoiding the locals trying to bite me as I look for a bunch of like minded hip and trendy people. No, not the script of some low budget horror movie, but an every day real-life occurrence for me.

Gold Dust Panda

So tonight, I had the pleasure of seeing musical legends Fleetwood Mac, play at the LG Arena and what a show it was - I've been fortunate to see many many big name acts along the way, but this was something else, if only to see the human drama that is Fleetwood Mac continue to play out in a coy, knowing fashion...

Anyhow, to celebrate being lucky enough to see some classic tunes sung live by their creators, here's a little something I whipped up this afternoon ahead of the main event. It's not the most ground-breaking Cola-track you'll ever hear - hell, it's probably out of key - but it makes me happy in it's own little post-rave mysticism manner....

So, here we are boys and girls. Today sees the release of the latest collaborative album I've taken part in. Now I've been involved in a lot of compilations, and of course, the legendary Mashed In Plastic; but this is different. This is... beauty incarnate.

If you knew how long this one took to put together to, you'd appreciate it even more **knowing wink**

So.... 11 tracks, the sublime Bon Iver mashed up. Featuring tracks from Men At Work, Lana Del Rey, Kimbra, INXS, Cake, Moderat (of course!), Sia, Gustavo Santoalalla, Florence & The Machine, Coldplay and Icona Pop.
